Samantha Hedges

(Pilates Teacher)

Sam has over 30 years’ experience working as a school teacher and group fitness instructor. She was first drawn to Pilates 20 years ago as a way to mindfully move her body whilst addressing muscle imbalances caused by working with small children in the classroom.  Sam loved the calming effect it had on her body and decided to train as an instructor.  Since that initial introduction and witnessing the numerous benefits that Pilates has on the body Sam has gone on to additional study including a recent upgrade to a Diploma of Pilates.  She hopes to impart her passion for the Pilates method aiding clients to achieve their unique goals.

Sam believes in the benefits of Pilates to bring about changes in posture, body awareness, strength, flexibility and as a form of stress relief from the effects of modern day.

She loves the variety that Pilates offers and is an advocate for moving your body daily.

“I love how Pilates takes me to a special place and frees me up – it makes me a better Mum and a happier person”.

When Sam isn’t teaching she enjoys practising Yoga and walking in nature.
