Class Types:
Iyengar Yoga, is named after B.K.S. Iyengar, who developed a form of Hatha Yoga in which a focus is placed on the structural alignment of the physical body through the development of postures (asanas) and pranayama (breathing exercises). Through the practice of a system of asanas and pranayamas, it aims to unite the body, mind and spirit and improve health and well-being.
The discipline of Iyengar yoga can be a powerful tool to relieve the stresses of modern-day life. In class we often make use of props, such as belts, blocks, and blankets, as aids in performing asanas. The props enable students to perform the postures correctly, minimising the risk of injury or strain, and making the practice accessible to both young and old.

Restorative slow flow yoga with Annie promotes relaxation, mindful movement with body & breath awareness enabling you to slow down and enjoy the synthesis of movement. When we take time our nervous system relaxes, our minds slow down, our muscles become supple and the breathe deepens. These classes offer strength, flexibility and flow, allowing space for mind – body – breath connection.
