Dr Stephanie Giddings
Senior Osteopath & Clinical Pilates Practitioner
Stephanie graduated from Victoria University in 2014 with a Bachelor of Applied Science and a Master of Osteopathy. In addition, she is a certified Clinical Pilates instructor through the Australian Physiotherapy & Pilates Institute (APPI) and is qualified to perform dry needling and shockwave therapy.
Stephanie was drawn to osteopathy because of its holistic approach to healthcare, her background in sport and her passion for helping people move and feel their best. Her approach combines hands-on osteopathic treatment with exercise prescription and lifestyle advice. She believes every patient is different, which is why she takes the time to understand each person’s individual circumstances before developing a treatment plan tailored to their goals.
Stephanie has a strong interest in caring for people throughout different stages of life, including infants, children and women during pregnancy. She enjoys treating people who experience both acute and chronic pain across a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions, including neck pain, headaches, jaw pain, pelvic pain and low back pain.
Since graduating, Stephanie has undertaken ongoing professional development, particularly in the areas of chronic pain, paediatrics, pregnancy and pelvic health. Most recently, she has completed the OPEN chronic pain training course, the Spinning Babies course and The Osteopathic Pelvic Health Institute’s pelvic floor course.
Away from the clinic, Stephanie is a mum to two young kids and enjoys keeping active through running, swimming, Pilates and skiing. She understands the challenges of balancing family life with work, exercise and maintaining your own health and wellbeing.
