Jasmine Scibilia

(Pilates Teacher)

Jasmine initially discovered Pilates as a means to strengthen and stretch her body, and complement the other physical activities she liked to participate in. Working as an Archaeologist, Jasmine found Pilates was a successful way to restore the body after digging in small trenches for long periods of time. Over the years the enjoyable pastime became more prominent in her life, and she began to study Pilates teaching. After having a baby, Jasmine put the digging tools down and replaced them with a magic circle.

Jasmine completed her Matwork instruction at National Pilates Training in 2018 and Studio Rehab with Polestar Pilates in 2022. The learning journey is ongoing; teaching Pilates allows Jasmine to engage with diverse clients, new challenges and goals. Jasmine found that in addition to helping people move more efficiently in their bodies, she has enjoyed the diversity of people she meets through the Pilates practice.

Jasmine has a particular interest in the benefits of Prenatal and Post-natal Pilates. She is fascinated by how the body changes and adapts over time, and ultimately how our understanding of our own bodies develops through the Pilates practice.

‘Overall Pilates has made me have more respect and understanding of my body than ever before. I am amazed at what my body can do, how it can repair, be challenged and continue to move. I have one body and I intend to use it well!’
