Toni’s journey in the world of fitness and wellness began with her Cert 3 in group fitness, providing her with a strong foundation in guiding individuals through dynamic and engaging workout sessions. She further expanded her repertoire to include various specialised disciplines, such as Mat Pilates, Reformer Pilates, Fitball Pilates, Zumba, and Spin. This comprehensive skill set ensures that Toni can offer a wide range of exercise modalities to suit different preferences and needs.

Toni’s education was enriched by her training under the esteemed Marena and Chris at Global Training Systems. Both of her mentors shared a background in dance, which resonated deeply with Toni due to her own extensive dance experience. This connection allowed her to grasp the nuances of movement more profoundly, enhancing her ability to communicate effectively with her clients. Drawing from her mentors’ dance-centric approach, Toni incorporates vivid language and relatable references into her teaching, making each session an immersive and enlightening experience.

Boasting over 30 years of experience teaching dance, Toni’s understanding of movement and rhythm is unparalleled. Her graceful transitions and attention to detail stem from her extensive dance background, infusing her Pilates sessions with an artistic touch. Furthermore, she brings nearly 20 years of expertise in teaching group fitness, demonstrating her adeptness in tailoring workouts to suit diverse audiences.

While Toni officially began teaching Reformer Pilates more recently, her relationship with this practice runs deep. Throughout her dance career, she utilised reformer exercises as a form of rehabilitation for her numerous injuries, offering her firsthand insight into its healing potential. This personal connection to reformer Pilates, combined with her professional expertise, allows Toni to create sessions that promote both strength and recovery.
